Antonio Torrez is a Tucson based grower who has been an active member of the Abundant Harvest Cooperative (AHC) for over a decade.
Through the Abundant Harvest Cooperative, local backyard growers and farmers get help selling their fresh produce by reducing barriers, growing community and sharing knowledge. Abundant Harvest Cooperative gives the opportunity to backyard gardeners and small farmers who sell produce at our weekly farmers’ markets. AHC’s work facilitates income for small scale agriculture while enabling a healthier diet of local produce for the Tucson public.
Antonio’s specialties include figs and citrus such as beautiful Meyer Lemons, kumquats, oranges, and grapefruit. Visit the AHC table at the Santa Cruz River Farmers’ Market on Thursdays from 3 PM to 6 PM and try Antonio’s produce!
