Stuff the Cat Tran

Support your neighbors in need by donating to Stuff the Cat Tran! You can bring donations on Monday, March 24th between 9am and 4pm to the UA Mall on Cherry Avenue between the Flandrau Science Center and Optical Sciences. Volunteers will be loading up the Cat Tran with community donations and from the collection boxes around campus.
UA 4 Food is an annual drive to fight hunger and food insecurity throughout Southern Arizona. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate each spring by bringing non-perishable donations to collection sites across campus. They spend a month collecting donations and celebrate the final day of the drive by loading donations into the 40-foot-long Cat Tran for delivery to the Campus Pantry and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Together, they have raised more than $366,000 and collected more than 214,400 pounds of food since 2004. Consider donating nutritious items labeled as low sugar, low or no sodium, or whole grain. No glass containers or pre-opened items. No baby food other than cereals due to food safety standards.
