Volunteer with Us

Community Food Bank Volunteers like you make our work possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

Volunteers are welcome to sign up individually, in teams, corporate groups, families, and more. In addition, we offer opportunities for people to complete court-ordered community service.

What You Can Do

Our volunteers do it all, including packing and sorting food, distributing food, working in our community gardens, serving meals at our community kitchen, and helping out in our administrative offices. We welcome volunteers at all of our locations: Tucson, Green Valley, Amado, and Nogales, plus our monthly Mobile Distributions in Marana.

View all volunteer opportunities, read commonly asked questions, or sign up for a volunteer shift!

Court-Ordered Community Service

Volunteers are welcome at the Community Food Bank to fulfill court-mandated community service hours. Community Service volunteers must be 16 or older; furthermore, we do not accept volunteers who have been charged with violent offenses such as domestic violence, assault, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, disorderly conduct, armed robbery, or aggravated assault. For more information, questions, requirements, or to schedule court-ordered volunteer shifts, please contact our team below.

Pop-Up Packing Events

Are you hosting a retreat or want a team-building activity? If you can’t come to us, we can come to you. For a suggested donation, we will host an event at your location and bring the food we need packed. To learn more, please contact our team using the form below.

Volunteer as a Group

Bring the whole team! Get a group together and volunteer at the Community Food Bank for fun team-building that makes a difference. Bring your sports team, church group, coworkers, or community organization, or just rally friends and family to join you. For large group volunteer opportunities, please contact our team below.
